CapCut to host AI-focused hackathon at Mexico Tech Week 2026

CapCut has announced its participation in Mexico Tech Week 2026 through the ‘CapCut Design Studio: Speed-to-Scale Hackathon’. This event is designed to allow participants to transform creative concepts into finished digital pieces using artificial intelligence tools, specifically CapCut PC and CapCut Design Studio.

The hackathon will begin with a guided demonstration of the platform's advanced AI functions. Participants will then form teams on-site to work for four hours on original projects, which may include visual campaigns, brand proposals, social media content, or templates. A key requirement for entry is the integration of at least two AI features from the CapCut suite.

Finalist proposals will be presented to a jury composed of industry specialists and members of the Mexico Tech Week community. The event aims to foster collaboration among content creators, designers, entrepreneurs, and technology enthusiasts within the region's creative ecosystem.
