The City of Cape Town has launched Maya, an AI-powered investment concierge designed to assist local and international investors in navigating the municipal business environment. Unveiled by Alderman James Vos, the digital platform is available 24 hours a day in eight languages, including Afrikaans and isiXhosa.

Maya serves as a single entry point for users to explore investment opportunities, navigate municipal processes, find business support programs, and connect with city officials. The initiative is part of the ‘Cape Town. Built for Business’ campaign, which aims to highlight the city's potential for job creation and economic growth alongside its tourism sector.
