Capistrello community gathers for Assumption Eve celebrations

In Capistrello, the local community gathered at the church of Maria Assunta for a Eucharistic celebration following a procession. The event marked the eve of the Solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

The Mass was presided over by Bishop Giovanni and concelebrated by the parish priest, Don Lorenzo Macerola, alongside other clergy, seminarians, and local civil and military authorities. During his homily, the Bishop emphasized the themes of joy, trust, and hope, describing the Assumption as a message of victory over death and a reflection of the believer's orientation toward God.
