Capistrello establishes Saint John Paul II Committee

The town of Capistrello has officially formed the Saint John Paul II Committee to preserve and promote the spiritual legacy, message, and memory of the late Pope. The committee's establishment coincides with the second anniversary of the arrival of a relic of the Pope in the town.

Dr. Carmine Stati has been appointed president, with entrepreneur Andrea Fantozzi serving as vice president. Danilo Murzilli will lead the Communication and Artistic Direction area, while Don Lorenzo Macerola will serve as the spiritual father. One of the committee's primary objectives is to establish a twinning agreement with Wadowice, the birthplace of Saint John Paul II.
