Capital B acquires 376 BTC, becoming Europe’s second-largest public Bitcoin holder

French-listed Bitcoin treasury firm Capital B has acquired 376 BTC for €25.3 million ($29.4 million), marking its largest single acquisition since September 2025. This purchase brings the company’s total holdings to 3,521 BTC, valued at approximately $275 million.

The acquisition was funded through recent capital raises totaling roughly €30.1 million, which included a private placement supported by strategic investors such as Blockstream co-founder Adam Back and asset manager TOBAM. Back’s recent investments have increased his stake in the company to 17.64%.

With this latest move, Capital B has overtaken Sweden-based H100 Group in total holdings, positioning itself as the second-largest publicly traded Bitcoin holder in Europe, trailing only Germany’s Bitcoin Group SE. The company aims to eventually accumulate 1% of Bitcoin’s total supply by 2033. The transaction was executed by Swissquote Bank Europe, with Taurus serving as the custodian.
