Capital B's Cboe Europe debut doubles trading volume within two hours
French Bitcoin‑treasury firm Capital B listed its shares on Cboe Europe on 5 August. Within 120 minutes of the debut, trading volume on the pan‑European exchange had doubled, overtaking activity on its historic Euronext Growth Paris listing (ticker ALCPB). The dual‑listing was intended to deepen liquidity and give European institutional investors broader access to the stock, which serves as a leveraged proxy for Bitcoin exposure.
Capital B aims to accumulate 1 % of the total Bitcoin supply – about 210,000 BTC – and currently holds roughly 3,000 BTC. Funding for further purchases includes a €15.2 million private placement completed in May 2026. While the strategy offers investors exposure to Bitcoin without direct crypto‑exchange trading, it also carries risks: share dilution if Bitcoin prices do not rise sufficiently to offset new equity issued for purchases.
