Capital Moto Week attracts 800,000 visitors in Brasília

The Capital Moto Week festival in Brasília's Granja do Torto exhibition park has opened its first week as the largest edition in the event’s history. Spanning 400,000 m², organisers anticipate around 800,000 attendees, 350,000 motorcycles and more than 1,800 motor‑clubs from Brazil and abroad over ten days.

The initial weekend featured 49 of the 105 scheduled concerts, with acts such as Nazareth, Masters of Voices, Velvet Chains, Di Ferrero, LVCAS, Eagle‑Eye Cherry, Supla, Matanza Ritual, Raimundos, Tihuana, Marcelo Falcão and a reunion show by Barão Vermelho. Di Ferrero’s performance on July 25 was highlighted for its interactive audience participation and personal anecdotes about riding motorcycles.

From July 27 to 29 the festival switches to a social‑community phase, offering free health, professional‑training and cultural services to an estimated 17,000 locals. Entry during midday hours (12 – 14 h) is free, and the final concert program continues through August 1.
