Capital One and other issuers announce airline miles transfer bonuses

Several credit card issuers have announced limited-time transfer bonuses for airline loyalty programs. Capital One is offering a 20% bonus when transferring miles to British Airways Avios, valid through October 21, 2026. Because Avios can be moved between various airlines, this bonus can be used for partners such as Iberia, Finnair, Aer Lingus, and Qatar Airways.

Other notable promotions include American Express offering a 20% transfer bonus to Aeromexico through October 30, 2026, and a 25% bonus to Air France/KLM Flying Blue through October 31, 2026. Citi has also introduced bonuses, including a 30% transfer bonus to Japan Airlines and a 25% bonus to Avianca LifeMiles, both available through October 24, 2026.
