CapitaLand Development donates $98,000 to Blue Dragon Children's Foundation

CapitaLand Development (CLD) Vietnam has concluded its “Steps of Love” campaign, which engaged over 8,500 participants to reach a total of 490 million steps. This achievement unlocked a $98,000 donation from the CapitaLand Hope Foundation (CHF) for the Blue Dragon Children's Foundation.

This contribution marks the final installment of a three-year commitment by CHF totaling $270,000 aimed at supporting vulnerable children and youth in Vietnam. The funds are designated for educational programs, vocational training, life skills development, and leadership training. The partnership is expected to assist more than 200 children and adolescents in improving their social integration and independence.

Tan Tze Wooi, General Director of CapitaLand Development Vietnam, presented the funds to Skye Maconachie, Co-Executive Director of Blue Dragon Children's Foundation. The campaign, now in its fourth year, utilized online challenges and a charity walk held on October 4 at Ocean City to mobilize employees, residents, and business partners.
