Capitan Findus debuts official comic at Lucca Comics & Games
The Capitan Findus brand has launched its first official comic book, titled ‘Capitan Findus – Il tesoro dell’aquila’. The debut was presented on October 29 at the Lucca Comics & Games 2026 event at the Teatro San Girolamo.
The project is a collaboration between Findus and the Scuola Internazionale di Comics. The comic was written by Matteo Montanari, the winner of a brand-sponsored contest that invited young artists to reinterpret the character. A limited edition of 1,000 copies featuring a special cover by artist Giuseppe Camuncoli was distributed during the event.
A full publication is scheduled for release in 2027 in partnership with Panini. The launch event included a special performance by actor and content creator Maurizio Merluzzo, alongside Findus Cluster Marketing Director for Southern Europe, Alessandro Solazzi.
