Capo Cocktail Competition selects three finalists in Acerra

The third edition of the Capo Cocktail Competition held its second stage in Acerra, within the Naples metropolitan area. Hosted at the Ritorno cocktail bar inside the Palarté venue, the event focused on the theme ‘New Era Mix’, challenging bartenders to reinterpret Vecchio Amaro del Capo through contemporary mixology.

Three contestants successfully qualified for the national final to be held at the Caffo Distillery in Limbadi, Calabria: Leonardo Lasala, who presented the cocktail ‘Dorian’; Giorgio Martino, with ‘Il Mio Giardino’; and Alessandro Mennella, who created ‘Bitter Sling’.

The competition, centered on the product from Gruppo Caffo 1915, encourages professionals to move beyond the traditional ice-shot ritual and explore the versatility of the amaro’s 29 botanicals to create unique, replicable cocktail identities.
