Capo Vaticano hosts XI edition of Estate a Casa Berto

The XI edition of ‘Estate a Casa Berto’ begins on September 2 at Capo Vaticano, running until September 5. The event is dedicated to the works of writer Giuseppe Berto and his deep connection to Southern Italy.

The program opens with the national premiere of ‘Il mare da dove nascono i miti’, a re-edition of Berto’s text curated by Saverio Vita. This publication marks the start of the ‘Giuseppe Berto. Opere complete’ series by Edizioni Settecolori, which aims to republish his entire body of work. The volume includes over thirty years of reportage and letters regarding the Mezzogiorno.

Other scheduled events include a theatrical performance of ‘Il male oscuro’ starring Alessio Vassallo on September 2, and a cinematic presentation of Enrico Maria Salerno’s work on September 3.
