Cappadocia hosts literature festival and Turkish-Italian heritage talks

The Cappadocia region is hosting significant cultural and scientific initiatives focused on heritage and literature. The 6th Cappadocia Literature Meetings, organized by Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University in collaboration with Anlatı Eğitim Danışmanlık, concluded after two days of events. Centered on the theme of ‘Loyalty’ (Vefa), the festival featured panels, workshops, and exhibitions involving experts in science, art, and literature.

Simultaneously, a scientific cooperation initiative between Turkey and Italy is underway to protect Cappadocia’s cultural assets. Nevşehir Governor Hüseyin Kök met with a delegation from Tuscia University to discuss the research and restoration of historical wall paintings, specifically those located in the Göreme Open Air Museum, such as the Tokalı Church. The discussions focused on using scientific methods to preserve the region's cultural heritage for future generations through international expertise and shared experience.
