Cappadocia Rally features female tow truck operators

The Cappadocia Rally, the fourth leg of the Petrol Ofisi Maxima 2026 Turkish Rally Championship, recently took place across the challenging terrains of Nevşehir, Avanos, and Ürgüp. The event featured 45 vehicles and 90 athletes competing over a total course of 379 kilometers.

Beyond the racing competition, the event highlighted increased female visibility in the automotive and assistance sectors. Female tow truck operators Fatma Tombalak and Nur Tombalak served as part of the field team, working in roles traditionally dominated by men. Remed Assistance provided the towing fleet and specialized ambulance teams to ensure safety across the difficult dirt tracks and sharp turns of the region.
