Cappadocia Ultra Trail to host international athletes in October

The Salomon Cappadocia Ultra Trail is scheduled to take place from October 16 to 18, 2026. Organized by Argeus Travel & Events, the event features various race distances, including 119, 63, 38, and 14 kilometers, with some courses requiring up to 24 hours of continuous effort.

Approximately 3,000 athletes are expected to participate, with total visitors—including families and technical teams—reaching between 6,000 and 7,000 people. The event is projected to generate significant economic activity for the Cappadocia region, estimated between 300 million and 350 million Turkish Liras, benefiting local accommodation, dining, and transportation sectors.

Since its inception in 2014 with 167 athletes, the race has grown into a major international event attracting participants from over 90 countries. The organization aims to promote Cappadocia's natural and historical landscapes globally through sports tourism and social media exposure.
