Captain José Manuel López Santiso leads Guardia Civil in Ponferrada

Captain José Manuel López Santiso has assumed command of the 3rd Company of the Guardia Civil in Ponferrada. The appointment was marked by a meeting with the Government Sub-delegate in León, Héctor Alaiz Moretón.

During the meeting, officials discussed security matters and the necessity of coordination between various institutions and security forces within the Bierzo region. López Santiso, originally from Lugo, brings extensive experience to the role, having previously served in citizen security, traffic, and weapons and explosives units across various locations, including Segovia, Salamanca, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Asturias, and A Coruña.
