Capua and Sefro host summer concerts featuring Wind Young Ensemble and I Patagarri

On July 20, the historic San Domenico church in Capua welcomed the Wind Young Ensemble of the Orchestra da Camera di Caserta for a chamber‑music concert that highlighted works by Nicolò Jommelli, Franz Anton Hoffmeister and Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The event, organized by the Associazione Anna Jervolino and supported by the local Arciconfraternita, drew a large audience to the Baroque venue.

A week later, on July 26, the IncantoMarche festival at the Fonte della Cerasa in Sefro featured the band I Patagarri, a collective that evolved from street performances in Milan to a genre‑blending ensemble of jazz‑manouche, swing and blues. Their lively set, noted for energetic brass and acoustic instruments, concluded the weekend festival and underscored the vitality of contemporary Italian music.

Both performances illustrate the diversity of Italy’s summer cultural program, bringing together classical repertoire and modern improvisational sounds in regional historic sites.
