For newer vehicles using R1234yf, costs are higher, ranging from roughly 140 to 171 euros. General market averages often fall between 80 and 100 euros, though this figure combines both types of gas and may not accurately reflect the cost for very old or very new vehicles.

Recharging is necessary when the system loses refrigerant due to leaks in seals, worn components, or pipe fissures. It is recommended to repair any underlying leaks before recharging to avoid wasting money on repeated services. Total costs for various system services can range from 80 to 380 euros depending on the specific requirements of the vehicle's system.
