Car crashes into school bus in Montefiascone

A car collided with a school bus in Montefiascone, Viterbo, on the morning of October 26. The incident occurred around 7:30 AM on the Cassia Nord in the Le Coste area when a Toyota Yaris struck the rear of the bus while it was stopped to pick up students.

No children were injured in the collision. However, a mother who had just exited the bus to accompany her child was knocked to the ground by the impact. She was transported to the Santa Rosa hospital in Viterbo for medical evaluation, though her condition is reported as not serious. The driver of the car also sustained minor bruising.

Following instructions from Mayor Giulia De Santis, the students were transferred to another municipal vehicle to continue their journey to school. Carabinieri and local police attended the scene to manage traffic and conduct investigations.
