Car festivals in northern Croatia draw hundreds of enthusiasts

The Garage Freaks association hosted the 8th Car Tuning Show at the Goričanec site in Sveti Martin na Muri, bringing together 300‑400 exhibitors from Croatia, Slovenia and Hungary. The event featured competitions on vehicle appearance, modifications, noise measurements and ride height, as well as a tyre‑burning spectacle, camping facilities and activities for children.

At the same time, the US Cars Picnic took place in Forest Park, Brežice, showcasing a range of classic and modern American automobiles. The three‑day festival offered live rock performances, a pin‑up contest, family‑friendly attractions, free camping and a programme that highlighted the sound of V8 engines and chrome details. Both events attracted large crowds and highlighted the growing popularity of automotive culture in northern Croatia.
