Romanian police deploy e‑SIGUR radar as several road accidents injure drivers

The Alba County Police announced the use of mobile e‑SIGUR radar units on June 6 to monitor speed and traffic violations across multiple national roads.

In the same period, a serious collision occurred in the centre of Pitești (Argeș County) involving two cars, prompting an emergency response by fire crews and SMURD paramedics. Authorities have not confirmed injuries yet.

Separately, a single vehicle left the carriageway near Teiuș on the road to Blaj. The driver survived and no casualties were reported.

Further north, a crash on DN24D near Odaia Bursucani in Vaslui County left six people injured, one of whom had to be extricated from the wreck by specialized rescue teams.

Police are investigating the circumstances of each incident while urging drivers to adhere to speed limits and traffic rules.
