Carabinieri a Cavallo to join Ortelle patronal feast

The IV Reggimento Carabinieri a Cavallo will participate in the patronal feast of Ortelle to honor the city's patron saints, San Giorgio and San Fortunato.

The event, part of the 2026 summer program, features the historic cavalry regiment, which is the only unit of the Italian Armed Forces mounted entirely on horseback. The regiment is noted for its ceremonial roles, such as the Carosello Equestre, as well as its service in territory patrol and monitoring natural reserves.
