Carabinieri carry out extensive checks in Colleferro area, seize drugs and WWII ammunition

The Carabinieri of the Colleferro unit launched an extraordinary control operation covering the municipalities of Colleferro, Valmontone and Artena. The raid targeted burglary prevention, road safety and drug use, involving mobile radio patrols and local stations.

During the operation 89 people were identified and 62 vehicles inspected. Three individuals were formally denounced: two residents of the Rome province for driving under the influence and a Valmontone resident for possessing two WWII-era projectiles and a knife. Four additional persons received administrative drug‑use notifications to the Prefecture of Rome. The checks also verified compliance of 14 people under house arrest and resulted in nine searches, three vehicle seizures and numerous road‑code infringements.
