Carabinieri conduct intensified patrols in Modica

Carabinieri in the Modica area of Sicily have intensified patrols to prevent road accidents and combat illegal activities. Recent operations conducted by the Nucleo Operativo and Radiomobile resulted in several legal actions.

In Ispica, a 46-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and struck a parked car, while in Sampieri, a 24-year-old was caught driving with an alcohol level significantly above the legal limit. Both drivers had their licenses revoked.

In Pozzallo, police intercepted a 38-year-old man found in possession of a telescopic baton and a metal pipe, leading to charges for the illegal possession of improper weapons. Additionally, a 27-year-old man was arrested after a violent altercation near a local accommodation facility where a soldier sustained an arm injury.
