Carabinieri conduct law enforcement checks in Acireale and Aci Catena

Carabinieri conducted a series of law enforcement checks between Acireale and Aci Catena to combat urban illegality and degradation. The operations resulted in several criminal charges.

In Acireale, an 18-year-old was reported for receiving stolen goods after being found with an electric bicycle that had been advertised for sale on an online platform. Additionally, a 55-year-old man was charged after being found in possession of a stolen concrete mixer.

In Aci Catena, authorities identified a 52-year-old man who had made an illegal connection to the electrical grid to steal energy from Enel Distribuzione. The connection was subsequently disconnected to restore safety. Furthermore, a 43-year-old man was reported for violating house arrest after being found outside his residence without authorization.
