Carabinieri conduct security operations in Sora, Anagni, and Copertino
Carabinieri conducted a series of security operations across various Italian locations. In Sora and Isola del Liri, a large-scale preventive operation targeted drug trafficking, fraud against the elderly, and traffic violations. The initiative, supported by canine units from Rome, resulted in two reports: a 34-year-old man found with a suspicious Greek driver's license and a 27-year-old driver who struck parked cars while intoxicated with a blood alcohol level over 2 g/l.
In Anagni, authorities arrested a 37-year-old foreign national caught in the act of stealing diesel from a transport company's bus. The suspect was found with a theft kit and partially filled canisters.
In Copertino, a 24-year-old man already under house arrest was arrested after attempting to throw a jar of marijuana out of a window. Police seized approximately 300 grams of marijuana, including both processed substance and growing plants.
Additionally, in Sora, police identified and reported a young man for making anonymous, threatening phone calls to a peer, including verbal threats of physical violence.
