Carabinieri conduct youth outreach in Avellino province
The Carabinieri in the Avellino province are conducting various community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting legality and social awareness among young people in Italy.
In Montella, approximately 30 children from a local summer camp visited the Carabinieri station. Led by Captain Maria Rosaria Paduano, the visit focused on the organization’s institutional duties, road safety, and the functioning of the 112 emergency number. The youth were also introduced to the association’s work supporting families of road accident victims.
In Rocca San Felice, officers from the Sant’Angelo dei Lombardi company introduced the “Journey into Awareness Against Gender Violence” project at a municipal toy library. This initiative uses a specialized board game to teach children and families about mutual respect, equality, and the recognition of violent behaviors. The project aims to prevent violence by fostering dialogue and teaching young people how to identify and report problematic dynamics.
