Carabinieri General Luongo meets family of deceased officer in Naples
In Naples, General Salvatore Luongo, Commander General of the Carabinieri, met with the family of Appuntato Antonio Roberto Centonze, who passed away in July following a serious illness. During the meeting, General Luongo expressed the institution's support for the widow and children of the deceased officer.
The visit coincided with a leadership transition at the Ogaden Interregional Carabinieri Command. General Massimo Masciulli, who is transitioning to lead the Anti-Mafia Investigative Directorate in Rome, handed over command to General Rosario Castello. General Castello brings diverse experience to the role, having previously led Carabinieri Legions in Basilicata and Sicily.
