Carabinieri hold legality workshops for students in Italy
Carabinieri units in Augusta and Garlasco have hosted educational sessions for local students to promote a culture of legality. These initiatives are part of a broader project promoted by the Carabinieri General Command in collaboration with the Ministry of Education and Merit.
In Augusta, 70 students from the IV Istituto Comprensivo Statale “Domenico Costa” visited the local barracks. Led by Captain Luca Pisano and Major Salvatore Rapacciuolo, the students toured the facilities and observed demonstrations of equipment. The session focused on social issues including bullying, cyberbullying, gender-based violence, and the legal and psychological consequences of irresponsible social media use.
In Garlasco, approximately 80 students from the “L. G. Poma” institute participated in a similar program led by Chief Marshal Daniel Unfer. The meeting addressed the legal responsibilities of minors, the risks of certain crimes, and the importance of conscious social media engagement. The program also included information on professional opportunities within the Carabinieri.
