Carabinieri officers conclude long service terms in Italy

Two long-serving Carabinieri officers in Italy are concluding significant chapters of their service in the Puglia and Sicily regions.

In Ruvo di Puglia, Marshal Gabrio Nocera is transferring to the Carabinieri Legion in Bari after seventeen years of service. Since joining the Ruvo station in 2009, Nocera has been recognized for his work in combating local crime and his engagement with the community.

In Alcamo, Lieutenant Salvatore Lo Faro is retiring after forty years with the Carabinieri. Having joined the force in 1986, Lo Faro spent much of his career serving the Alcamo area, eventually serving as the station commander. His career included several honors, such as the Mauriziana medal for fifty years of service and the Knight of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic.
