Carabinieri rescue lost woman in Castelfranco Emilia

Carabinieri officers successfully located a 70-year-old woman who had become lost in a rural area of Castelfranco Emilia, specifically in the Piumazzo locality.

The woman had left her home the previous evening by car, driving in the dark into an isolated and difficult rural terrain. After losing her orientation, she became stuck and unable to find her way home.

Emergency responders conducted a thorough search of fields and secondary roads. A critical factor in the rescue was an operator from the Modena Company Operations Center, who remained on the phone with the woman for an extended period. The operator used empathy and patience to keep her calm while gathering essential details to guide officers to her exact location. The woman was found safe and sound.
