Carabinieri seize playground and fine nightclub in Italy

Carabinieri conducted extraordinary inspections along the Riviera dei Cedri in the Alto Tirreno region during the Ferragosto holiday period. The operations targeted playgrounds, entertainment venues, and access roads to ensure public safety and regulatory compliance.

In Santa Maria del Cedro, an entire playground was subject to administrative and criminal seizure after authorities determined it lacked the necessary authorization to operate traveling shows. The manager has been referred to the Public Prosecutor's Office of Paola.

In Sangineto, an inspection of a nightclub revealed multiple violations, including the employment of an irregular worker, inadequate electrical safety measures, and the absence of HACCP self-control manuals. Fines exceeding 8,000 euros were issued. Additionally, the operations resulted in six reports for personal drug use and the revocation of driving licenses for three motorists.
