Caracas FC defeats Yaracuyanos FC 3-2 in Copa Venezuela

Caracas FC secured a 3-2 victory against Yaracuyanos FC at the Florentino Oropeza stadium in San Felipe, marking a successful start to Noel “Chita” Sanvicente’s fourth cycle as head coach in the Copa Venezuela 2026.

Sebastian González opened the scoring with a header before halftime. Yaracuyanos FC responded in the second half through Alonso Córdoba to level the match. The decisive goals for Caracas FC were scored by substitutes Alejandro Villarreal, via a penalty, and Miguel Vegas. Yaracuyanos FC managed a late consolation goal through Jeremy Márquez in the 88th minute.
