Caracas municipality undertakes extensive cleaning and infrastructure work in 23 de Enero

The Libertador Municipal Services Corporation (CorpoLibertador) carried out a comprehensive maintenance and sanitation operation on the main Cristo Rey avenue in the densely populated 23 de Enero parish of Caracas. Crews trimmed vegetation, performed phytosanitary treatments, and pruned a hazardous eucalyptus tree, while also deep‑cleaning ditches, stabilising a slope, and removing mixed waste and scrap metal. The effort included larger community‑infrastructure projects such as building perimeter walls and restoring public spaces to improve safety ahead of the rainy season and enhance residents’ quality of life.

These actions are part of the Bolivarian government's direct‑attention policies aimed at rehabilitating Caracas neighborhoods, mitigating flood risks, and restoring common areas in coordination with popular power structures.
