Caraguatatuba and Capivari hold key amateur football matches

In Caraguatatuba, the municipal football championships concluded the 3rd Division semifinals, with A.A. Perequê‑Mirim defeating Casa Branca 3‑1 and A. Desportivo Caraguá F.C. beating Galo de Ouro 2‑1. The two winners will contest the final on Sunday, 19 July, at the Centro Esportivo Municipal Ubaldo Gonçalves. The event also featured Master 50‑year and 60‑year categories, where teams such as EC Pegorelly, Unidos Caraguá and CA Guarani recorded high‑scoring victories.

Meanwhile, in Capivari, the 2nd Division of the amateur football championship continued on Saturday, 18 July, with four matches across the Fernando de Marco and Jair Forti stadiums. The games involved groups B and C, and the group winners and best runner‑up will advance to the semifinals and earn promotion to the 1st Division for 2027, as well as a spot in the 2027 Copa “Pedro Irineu”. The tournament is organized by the local sports secretariat and the LIDIAFA league.
