Caraguatatuba City Council reviews outdoor gym project and inaugurates new staff

The Caraguatatuba City Council is addressing several legislative matters, including a proposal by Councilwoman Vera Morais to establish a Municipal Outdoor Gym Program. The project aims to install fitness equipment in public squares, parks, and coastal areas to promote health, combat sedentary lifestyles, and provide free access to physical exercise. The program includes provisions for accessibility, safety, and potential partnerships with private and public entities.

Additionally, the Council recently held an inauguration ceremony for new permanent civil servants, marking the first such recruitment in 20 years. Of the 19 candidates called in the initial phase, 16 have officially taken office to strengthen the institution's technical and administrative structure.
