Caraguatatuba grants land titles to 65 residents in Perequê‑Mirim

In Caraguatatuba, São Paulo, 65 property owners in the Núcleo Paulino Ferreira area of the Perequê‑Mirim neighbourhood received official land‑regularisation titles. The ceremony took place at the local school EMEF Prof.ª Jane Urbano Focesi, where the municipal housing department presented each document. Mayor Mateus Silva joined the event via video call to congratulate the families and reaffirm the city’s commitment to transparent land regularisation.

Housing Secretary Fátima Rangel highlighted that the titles secure residents’ right to ownership, enable property valuation, and allow free sale or inheritance. The first phase covered the 65 lots of Quadra A; work on Quadra B, which contains 78 mapped lots, is in its final stage and will soon receive titles as well.
