Caraguatatuba launches free culinary training program
The Fundo Social de Caraguatatuba, in partnership with the Cult SP Pro program from the São Paulo State Government, has launched a free culinary course focused on pies and savory snacks. The training aims to promote autonomy and increase income-generating opportunities for individuals in vulnerable situations.
Led by instructor Érica Fernanda Batista, the 20-hour program covers food handling best practices, cost management, sales, and portfolio development. Participants learn to prepare various items, including quiches, empadas, coxinhas, and savory pastries. The classes are held on Thursdays and Fridays at the Fundo Social headquarters in the Sumaré neighborhood.
