Caravaggio's Narcissus to be exhibited in Potenza

The masterpiece “Narcissus” by Caravaggio is set to be exhibited at the Museo Archeologico Provinciale in Potenza from September 10 to November 30. This marks the first time the work will be presented in the Basilicata region.

Admission to the exhibition, titled “Caravaggio. Narciso, il mito di un capolavoro,” is free of charge, but online reservation is mandatory to manage visitor flow. Reservations can be made through the Basilicata Turistica portal, where visitors can select preferred days and time slots. Digital tickets are sent via email.

The exhibition is open daily, including Sundays, with morning hours from 9:30 to 13:30 and afternoon hours from 15:30 to 19:30. The event is organized by APT Basilicata and the Basilicata Region in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and the Gallerie Nazionali d’Arte Antica in Rome.
