Caravan Coffee Asagaya Store to Close on August 31, 2026

Caravan Coffee’s Asagaya branch, located at the north exit of Asagaya Station in Suginami‑ku, Tokyo, announced it will cease operations on 31 August 2026. The shop, part of the historic Caravan Coffee chain founded in 1928 on Yokohama’s Basha‑dōri, has been known for hand‑drip coffee, the “Yokohama Napolitan” dish and a custard‑pudding dessert with coffee sauce. The closure notice, posted on the shop’s entrance, thanks long‑time customers and marks the end of its local presence.

The café offered both a retail space for coffee beans and a small seating area where patrons could read or meet friends. The announcement invites anyone who wishes to experience the menu one last time before the final day.
