Caravan Salon Düsseldorf 2026 draws 750 exhibitors and new off‑road zone

The annual Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf will take place from 28 August to 6 September 2026. Organisers expect more than 750 exhibitors to showcase the latest motorhomes, caravans, roof‑tent systems and related technologies. The 2025 edition attracted over 270,000 visitors from 80 countries, and the 2026 fair adds a dedicated off‑road zone for rugged mobile‑home solutions and a new roof‑tent area responding to growing demand for compact, flexible travel options.

Separately, caravan owners are warned that standard navigation apps such as Google Maps or Waze often lack the vehicle‑size data needed for safe routing. TomTom’s GO Camper Max device allows users to input height, width and weight, automatically avoiding low bridges, narrow streets and low‑emission zones, and offers community‑sourced traffic updates tailored to caravans.
