Caravana do Tejo brings Portuguese wine experience to Goiânia

The Caravana do Tejo 2026 roadshow is scheduled to arrive in Goiânia, Brazil, on August 26. Led by wine specialist and journalist Marcelo Copello, the project aims to showcase the diverse wine expressions produced along the Tagus River in Portugal.

The event in Goiânia will feature a multi-faceted agenda, including a lunch for journalists, professional tastings for industry buyers, and a public experience consisting of a master class and a harmonized dinner featuring six wines from the Tejo region.

The Tejo region, located in central Portugal, is gaining traction in the Brazilian market due to its variety of wines—ranging from fresh whites to complex reds—and its balance of quality and price. The roadshow will visit seven Brazilian capitals, including São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, and Curitiba.
