CARBAP elects Pablo Ginestet as president and reshuffles executive board

The Confederación de Asociaciones Rurales de Buenos Aires y La Pampa (CARBAP) announced its new executive and administrative board for the 2026‑2028 term. Pablo Ginestet, a grain producer and former secretary of the organization, was elected president, succeeding Ignacio Kovarsky. Ginestet highlighted a commitment to maintain existing policies while incorporating new, younger members.

The renewed board includes Santiago Alem of the Sociedad Rural de Olavarría as pro‑treasurer, Sergio Melgarejo as first vice‑president, Julio Rodríguez as second vice‑president, and Fernando Ferrari as third vice‑president. Additional members appointed as pro‑secretaries are Mariano Moro and Alejandro Reinoso. The leadership change aims to address issues such as agro‑production, pesticide regulation, seed law modernization, animal health, and strengthening ties with producers in Buenos Aires and La Pampa.
