Carbonara Games reveals new trailer for psychological horror farming sim Crop

Carbonara Games and publisher 11 bit studios have released new footage for Crop, a single-player farming management game featuring a psychological horror narrative. Showcased during The MIX Fall Showcase, the trailer highlights a gameplay loop that combines traditional agricultural tasks—such as clearing weeds, managing irrigation, and protecting crops—with an investigation into the protagonist’s forgotten past.

Set in a starving and distrustful community, the game requires players to earn the confidence of locals while uncovering unsettling secrets buried within the town. The developers describe the experience as a descent into mystery centered on self-destructive behavior. Crop is currently in development for PC via Steam and GOG, with a projected release window in 2027.
