Carcass postpones Australia, New Zealand, China, and India tour

British death metal band Carcass has announced the postponement of their ‘Putrefying Down Under’ tour, which was scheduled to include dates in Australia, New Zealand, China, and India.

The band stated that drummer Daniel Wilding is facing a ‘deeply upsetting family situation’ that requires him to remain close to home. In a statement, the group noted that while they did not wish to share specific details out of respect for privacy, the decision to reschedule was not taken lightly.

Existing tickets for the tour will remain valid for the rescheduled dates, which are currently slated for September 2027. While the main tour is delayed, the Bangalore Open Air festival in India is still expected to proceed as scheduled.
