Carcassonne hosts major pétanque tournament with top players

A major pétanque tournament is underway in Carcassonne this weekend, September 12-13. The competition features several high-profile players competing for PPF (Passion Pétanque Française) points.

In a notable early match, the trio of Dylan Rocher, Maison Durk, and Stéphane Robineau defeated the team led by Marco Foyot, which included Cantarell and Fernandez. Other prominent figures participating in the tournament include Henri Lacroix and his partner David Doerr, Jean-Claude Jouffre, and Mickaël Bonetto.

The tournament has progressed to the 32nd finals, with various international competitors present, including players from Senegal and Benin.
