Cardano (ADA) faces bearish signals amid price decline

Cardano (ADA) is experiencing significant downward pressure, recently underperforming among major cryptocurrencies with an 18% decline over a two-week period. The token has seen a sequence of lower highs and lower lows, dropping from an early October peak near $0.2825 to levels hovering around $0.21 to $0.22.

Technical indicators have raised concerns among analysts. The SuperTrend indicator has flipped to a bearish signal, a pattern that previously preceded a 46% price correction in May. While the network continues to develop, analysts note that weak momentum, derivatives positioning, and a gap in DeFi activity present challenges compared to other large-cap altcoins.

Market volatility remains high, with recent liquidations totaling over $620,000. While the $0.21 level has historically acted as a support zone, failure to hold this area could lead to further declines toward $0.17 or the psychological $0.20 mark. Currently, whale activity remains relatively flat, showing no significant shift in holdings among large-scale investors.
