Cardano Holds Key Support as Whales Control Two‑Thirds of Supply

Cardano’s native token ADA is trading around $0.25, down more than 11% in the past week and 5.2% in the last 24 hours. The price is hovering near a critical support zone of $0.257‑$0.249, with traders watching for a break above $0.30 to trigger further gains. Trading volume remains above $215 million, while open interest in derivatives has fallen sharply, indicating reduced leverage.

On‑chain data shows that wallets holding more than 1 million ADA now control roughly 67% of the total supply – about 25 billion ADA – the highest concentration since July 2020. Despite a 71% market‑cap decline over nine months, these large holders have continued to add positions, suggesting confidence in a lower‑price accumulation.

Analysts cite the tight price compression between support and resistance as a classic breakout setup. Targets range from $0.33 in the near term to as high as $4 if a sustained rally develops, contingent on broader Bitcoin market strength.
