Cardano whales reach record holdings as ADA price stays flat
Cardano's large‑holder wallets (those with at least 1 million ADA) now control roughly 25 billion ADA, or more than 67 % of the total supply – the highest concentration since 2017 and a record since July 2020.
Despite this accumulation, ADA has been trading near $0.24 and is stuck in a triangular consolidation. Technical indicators, including a bearish MACD, suggest further downside pressure toward $0.22, while network activity metrics such as transaction count, active addresses and total value locked have all slipped.
Liquidity on the Cardano network rose about 12 % in a week, with stablecoin market cap hitting $52 million, yet overall activity remains subdued and the price remains compressed.
Investors are also turning attention to Ruvi AI, a decentralized AI super‑app built on Cardano. Ruvi pays contributors in its own $RUVI token and uses platform revenue to fund on‑chain buy‑backs and token burns, offering a model that rewards users rather than validators. The token is in a multi‑phase presale priced between $0.020 and $0.070.
