After trailing 1-0 in the third inning following a run by Tucupita Marcano, the Leones offense surged in the fifth inning. Key contributions came from Leandro Cedeño and Brainer Bonací, who drove in runs to take the lead. The momentum continued in the seventh and eighth innings, highlighted by a two-run double from pinch-hitter Wuilfredo Antúnez and a two-run home run by Lenyn Sosa.
Nic Swanson earned the win for Caracas, pitching five innings and allowing only one run, while Dillon Tate took the loss for Magallanes. The victory provides a significant boost for the Leones, who had struggled with a 2-6 start to the season.
